More With the Letter C

It was a hot and muggy day in Room 203. We spent our morning trying to stay cool while we worked more with the letter "C." We visited the air conditioned library to read a story with Mr. Withers and check out a new book. We had Reader's Workshop, too. For PEA, we tried bouncing a ball. After snack and recess, we learned more about "colores"with Sra. Colmenero.

After lunch, we practiced "Hickory, Dickory, Dock," read "Mrs. Wishy Washy," and sang "Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes." In math, we practiced our number fluency before putting two numbers together to make 3, 4, and 5. To end the day, we had Second Step. We learned about self talk with Puppy, Snail, and Mrs. Sweeney. Then we packed up to go home and read "The Cat in the Hat" before we dismissed.

Keep bringing those water bottles! See you tomorrow!
