Corey the Dribbler

We had an exciting Wednesday in Room 203! We went to the library first thing and had a cool assembly after we put our new books in our backpacks. The assembly was with Corey the Dribbler, who is a Harlem Globetrotter that is able to do many cool tricks with a basketball. He also told students how practice, hard work, and respect will help you get far. After snack, recess, and bathroom break, we went to Spanish. We learned more about colors with Sra. Colmenero.

After lunch, we read "B is for Bear" and finished up our "B" work from the morning. We also sang some songs and practiced our poem and phonics. We ended the day with Second Step. Mrs. Sweeney and I led a lesson on following directions. Then we packed up our things for home. What a quick day!
