Writing

We had a fast Tuesday in Room 203. We spent our morning working on "E" handwriting and reading storybooks in Reader's Workshop. After Road to Reading, snack and recess, we had Writer's Workshop. We continued working on our true stories that have a beginning and an end. We got some nice writing!  We will continue to practice making pictures and trying to sound out words as we move towards writing books.

After lunch, we recited "Peter, Peter, Pumpkin Eater," read "Wake Up, Dad!" and sang "Tony Chestnut" together. In math, we built, wrote, and counted the number 8. We went to the Computer Lab to work on Lexia games next, but the computers were not complying. We took the hint and went out for PEA instead. We ended the day with Music and Spanish. Both teachers gave us compliments. Hooray!
