Three Dimensional Shapes

We had a nice Thursday in Room 2. We began the day with Nutrition and a quick version of our morning activities. After reading "Stellaluna,"  Stella's favorite book, we wrote friendly letters to Stella, our Star of the Week. Next, we had Music with Mr. B for the last time. He had he class play freeze dance, sing songs, play drums, and more. It was fun! After recess, we had math. We reviewed three dimensional shapes. We also learned how to draw several of them. Cool!

After lunch, we reviewed sight words, recited "Rock-A-Bye Baby," and read Fidgety Fish and Friends." We also finished up some secret Mother's Day work. We finished early and have been studying oceans animals, so we watched a video on the coral reef. After P.E., we had Star of the Week. Stella shared some cool family photographs. Then we talked about Cinco de Mayo and worked on a coloring page until our Reading Buddies showed up. That's when we looked at books with our fourth grade friends from Room 19. Then we packed up, reviewed homework, and lined up for home.
