Pigs!

We had a fun Wednesday in Room 2. We began the day with Nutrition and our morning activities. Next, we read a book on pigs called "Pigsty." At language arts rotations, students made a pig in mud. They look cool!  My groups read "Zip?" and sorted even and odd numbers. I also finished our end of the year reading assessments. The other groups had secret centers. After recess, we had math. We practiced telling time to the hour and half hour. We're really getting it!

After lunch, we rehearsed our four songs for kindergarten culmination. Then we read "Sheep in a Jeep" and made sheep art with crayons, paper, and cotton balls. They're cute!  For Star of the Week, Zuri shared her favorite book, "Biscuit's Day on the Farm." At P.E., Coach Angel had the class play croquet.  We had a little extra free recess before packing up, reviewing homework, and lining up for home.
