Friday!

We had a fast Friday in Room 203. We started our day with Reader's Workshop before writing a letter to Jamari, our Star of the Week. We also read some Dr. Seuss books to celebrate "Read Across America Day." After snack and recess, we reviewed sight words, recited "Little Boy Blue," read "Bear Gets Scared," and had HWT.

After lunch, we combined bears and math by making a picture with addition problems. For a first try, we did a nice job adding two numbers together. We then made a picture with bears. After a Dr. Seuss word search, we packed up and shared our letters to Jamari. P.E. was canceled, so we went our for an afternoon recess before going to Music. We ended the day passing our prizes for twenty super star sticks and then lining up for home.
