Bears

We had a bear-y good day in Room 203.  We spent our morning reading "Corduroy Lost and Found" before sewing a bear with our Reading Buddies from Mrs. Fogg's class. When they left, we decorated the bear to look like Corduroy by adding eyes, a muzzle, overalls, and buttons. They look cute!  After Road to Reading, we reviewed sight words, recited "There Was a Crooked Man," read a book on grizzly bear cubs, and wrote in our kindergarten journals. We wrote sentences about bears.

After lunch, we visited the library with Mr. Withers and Mrs. Frost. We listened to a story and were super quiet checking out and reading new books. Wow! Keep it up!  When we return to Room 203, we spent a little time working on number bonds together. We also had Star of the Week. Kennedy shared some fun toys including: An American Girl doll, some L.O.L. toys, and a Minnie Mouse that walks and talks. The class liked them all!  Next we had Music and Spanish. We ended the day by reviewing homework and packing up.
