Reading and More With "Sh"

We had a busy Tuesday in Room 203. We spent our morning reading during Reader's Workshop, looking at a Time for Kids on teeth, and with our Reading Buddies in Mrs. Fogg's classroom. We also brainstormed some "sh" words and practiced "sh" phonics. After Road to Reading, we had snack and recess. When we returned, we reviewed our sight words, recited "Come to the Window," read "The Grouchy Ladybug," and practiced handwriting in our HWT workbooks.

After lunch, we visited the Library. Mr. Wither's read us a story before we checked out some books. Mrs. Frost was kind enough to take out some animal books to help us with our Animal Research Reports. They are great resources and can get you started on your project right away! When we got back to Room 203, we practiced making subtraction sentences from a story.  We also played "Snap!" with a partner. For Star of the Week, Rafa shared some toys. He had a Freddy Fastbear, a shark guy, a LEGO guy, a fidget spinner, two ROBLOX, and a Quasi toy. The class liked them all!  We ended the day in Music and Spanish. We continue to practice the Three Piggy Opera in Music for next month. We also played  game with Mrs. Karia. We learned about the rain forest and Puerto Rico with Sra. Colmenero in Spanish. Then we packed up, reviewed homework, and headed for home!
