A Wednesday Without Mr. Ricker

We had a Wednesday without Mr. Ricker in Room 203. I'm attending a two-day training, so Ms. Groll was our substitute for the day. Our plans include talking care of morning activities, HWT, Road to Reading and Writer's Workshop. After snack and recess, we should read "Iguana on Ice" and have ELA Workshop. Students sounded out and matched "short i" words and pictures while groups read Time for Kids with Ms. Groll.

After lunch, we recited "Little Jack Horner" and had math. Our lesson was on counting and building numbers to 9. To end the day, we had Second Step with Ms. J.C. and Mrs. Z. The topics were empathy and same or different. Then we packed ip and lined up for home. I hope it was a good day!
