The Snowy Day

We had a nice, quick Wednesday in Room 203. We started our day adding a page to our 100 Day Book. After Reader's Workshop, we read "The Snowy Day" by Ezra Jack Keats. We wrote about something that Peter did in the story. After Road to Reading, we had snack and recess before going to Spanish.

After lunch, we went over sight words, recited "Little Bo-Peep," and talked more about "The Snowy Day." we finished our writing and made pictures using crayons and cotton balls. They look nice!  After some Workshop time, we had Second Step. We learned about Handling Waiting and ways to stay calm. Then we packed up, reviewed homework, and lined up for home.

Remember to finish and look over homework packets for tomorrow! (There's no school on Friday).
