BAS Testing

It was an interesting day in Room 203. I was supposed to be out of the Room BAS Testing, but my substitute was asked to cover another class. So I spent part of the day in the class, and part BAS testing. There may be another day next week similar as we finish up these reading assessments. Anyway, in the morning we added 10 squares to our 100 Day Books, and had Reader's Workshop. We also read "The Pig's Picnic" and worked on "P" phonics and sentences. After snack and recess, we finished up some stories in Writer's Workshop.

After lunch, we had math. We reviewed numbers and one to one correspondence. We also compared two sets of objects to see which had more or fewer. We also got some Workshop time before we went to Art. Ms. Sundquist had the class finish up their snowman collages. Then we packed up, counted super star sticks, and lined up for home. Students don't have school on Friday (Teachers' Institute), so enjoy your three-day weekend!
