Three Dimensional Shapes

Mr. Rios taught the class today. Our plan for the day was to start with Nutrition and our morning business. At language arts rotations, students wrote a friendly letter to Miss Esther, our Star of the Week. My groups wrote about ocean animals in their kindergarten journals. The other groups had secret centers. After recess, we had Star of the Week and math. Miss Esther should have shared her family pictures for Star of the Week. During math, we had some addition practice.

After recess, we had art. We started a new unit on Space & Form. Students then made a picture using colored construction paper to make different three dimensional shapes. Next, we had P.E. on the kindergarten yard. To end the day, Abby's friend stopped by to tell the class about bees. Then we packed up and lined up for home.
