Preparing for Mother's Day

We had a fun Friday in Room 203. We spent our morning writing letters to Sa'Daree, our Star of the Week. We also got a chance to build with blocks and LEGO because it was L is for LEGO in the ABC Countdown. We also finished up Mother's Day gifts and prepared them to take home. We hope you like them! After snack and recess, we had Reader's Workshop and worked in our HWT workbooks.

After lunch, we had math. We worked more with numbers 10-20 by counting the Say Ten way. That means ten one, ten two, ten three, etc. We used dot stampers to make different ten numbers, too. We snuck in a little more LEGO and block time, too, before going to P.E. and Music to end the day. Then we packed up, passed out prizes for twenty super star sticks, grabbed our Mother's Day gifts, and headed for home.
