Field Trip to the Brookfield Zoo

It was a great day in Room 203 because had a field trip to the Brookfield Zoo! We started our morning by writing letters to Wai Zin, our Star of the Week. Then we cleaned up and prepared for our trip. We got on the bus and drove to Brookfield. We met our parent chaperones when we arrived and got into teams. The weather was beautiful as we explored the zoo. There were lions, tigers, bears, dolphins, fish, gorillas, monkeys, birds, snakes, lizards, wolves, giraffes, rhinos, and more. We ate lunch with our friends and then explored some more. Then we met up at 1:00 and boarded the bus back to Beye. We arrived in time to have P.E. with Mr. S. We were going to have some afternoon recess before we went home, but it started raining, so we packed up and had a little free time before going home.

Specials thanks to all of our parent chaperones: Ben P.'s mom, Ben S.'s mom, Henry's mom and dad, Kennedy's mom, aunt, and grandmother, Nora's dad, Rafa's mom, Reid's mom, Sa'Daree's mom, and Wai in's mom.We appreciate your help. We hope that you had a fun day too!

Have a great weekend and be sure to finish up those Animal Reports for Tuesday!
