More With Th and Insects

We had a warm Tuesday in Room 203. The weather was sunny and we loved it! It was also D is for Dance in our ABC Countdown, so we added some dances to our day. We also spent the morning in Reader's Workshop and with our Reading Buddies. We also brainstormed some "th" words and worked on "th" phonics. After Road to Reading, we had snack and recess. We ended the morning reading "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and working in our HWT workbooks.

After lunch, we visited the Library. Mr. Withers shared a story and we checked out new books. When we returned, we had math. We looked at adding zero and 1 to a number. We also finished up our hidden insect pictures.  For Star of the Week, Reid shared some fun toys. He had a crystal, a hopping toy, a red puppy, a  ball, and a Captain Jack Sparrow figure. The class liked them all!  We ended the day with Music and Spanish. Then we packed up, reviewed homework, and headed for home!
