Library

We had a fast Wednesday in Room 203. We spent our morning reading "short I" words and matching them to pictures. We also visited the Library. Mr. Withers read us a story and we checked out books. He and I were discussing letting students check out a second book. I think we will start in the second semester. Details will come as soon as we're set!  After our final Road to Reading of this rotation, we had snack and recess. Then we went to Spanish with Sra. Colmenero. The class made crowns related to their birthday.

After lunch, we recited "Little Jack Horner," read "The Biggest Pumpkin," and sang the phonetic alphabet song. It helps students with letter sounds. For math we finished up some counting work using pumpkin seeds. To end the day, we had Second Step. We talked about having the same or different feelings as a friend. Then we packed up, reviewed homework, and lined up for home.
