Christmas and Holiday Projects

We had a fun Wednesday in Room 203. We began the day with our morning activities and HWT. Then we read two books, including "Bear's Christmas Star" and made some snowmen holiday bags. They will hold our holiday projects when they go home tomorrow. After snack, we went outside for recess. Yay!  When we got back, we read "The Christmas Penguin" and talked about some Christmas traditions. During ELA Workshop, students made candy canes using two colors of beads on a pipe cleaner. I pulled groups to dot paint some gifts we're making. And everyone went to a secret center.

After lunch, we sang our three holiday songs and went to an assembly. The jazz chorus, gospel choir, and beginning orchestra all performed. They did a great job!  When we got back, we packed up, bundled up, and lined up for home.
