Coins

We had a quick Wednesday in Room 203. We spent our morning working on HWT, Reader's Workshop, and "T" phonics. After Road to Reading, we had snack and recess outside. We finished the morning in Spanish.

After lunch, we reviewed sight words, recited "Polly Put the Kettle On," and had math. We continued our weeklong study of coins by looking at nickels. We read a book called "Nickels," made a nickel, and used a nickel to find other nickels that matched. We ended the day with Second Step. We had lesson two in our Child Protection Unit focusing on how we should "Always Ask First."  A home-link went home in your child's green folder, or will be in their Friday Folder. Then we packed up for home.
