Bears

We had a bear-y good Thursday in Room 203. We spent our morning on HWT and Reader's Workshop. We also read a book called "Bears" and  started a bear project . We visited the Computer Lab to play LexiaCore5 games. After snack and recess, we had Writer's Workshop. Mr E led a lesson where we picked our favorite piece of work and began revising it for "publication."

After lunch, we reviewed sight words, recited "Polly Put the Kettle On," and read  book called "Dimes." In math, we looked at and learned about dimes before trying to identify them among other coins. Next we finished up our movable bears by hole punching them and adding brass fasteners. They look cute!  We ended the day in Art with Ms. Sundquist. Then we packed up, reviewed homework, and lined up for home.
