A Day Without My Voice

It was a quiet day for Mr. Ricker on Tuesday, as I lost my voice. I'll be checking with the doctor after school and plan on bring here tomorrow for P/T Conference. Good timing, huh? We spent our morning on HWT, Reading Buddies, and by reading "Tacky the Penguin." Then we decorated a bright Hawaiian shirt for Tacky using crayons and water colors. We will do even more tomorrow! After Road to Reading, we had indoor snack and recess before taking a survey about the year.

After lunch, we visited the library. We listened to a story with Mr. Withers and checked out new books. For math, we counted number and compared to see which was less. For Star of the Week, Evan shared some toys. He brought in a jet, a monster truck, and two cars. The class liked them all!  We ended the day with Music and Spanish. Then we packed up for home.
