More Ethnicity Dolls, Art, and Zero Hero

We started our Friday by collecting homework. After taking care of our morning business (which included finding all ten Zero Heroes), I read the story "Bear's Christmas Star." During language arts rotations, students worked on a "P" phonics page and wrote sentences with "P" words. At my table, we read "A Map" and wrote letters to Ethan, our Star of the Week. The other groups had secret centers.  After snack (which included a Zero Hero treat) and recess, we recited "Little Bo-Peep" and had math. We worked on comparing numbers and the concepts of more and fewer.

After lunch, we had Art with Ms. Maria and Miss Karla. The had student make beautiful flower paintings. When we were done, we had Star of the Week. Ethan brought in coin holders to estimate. There were 60. Our P.E. area was taken, so we ran a lap and had free recess with balls and jump ropes. When we got back, we shared our last Ethnicity Dolls and had a few minutes of choose time. Then we packed up, got our Friday Folders, passed our green certificates, and lined up for home!

Have a great weekend everyone!
