The Butterflies Emerge!

We had some exciting news on Wednesday and Thursday in Room 2. Our butterflies began to emerge from their chrysalis!  Two came out on Wednesday, two more emerged on Thursday. The class got very excited to see them appear and then see them start to flap their wings. We put out some sugar water and fresh oranges to feed them while they stay with us in the butterfly pavilion. We have our fingers crossed that the last one appears tomorrow!  Either way, we plan to set them free at the end of the day on Friday. It has been fun to see the life cycle of a butterfly firsthand in the class!
