Sea Turtles and Sea Horses

We had another day with Mr. Rios today. Our plan for Friday should have started with collecting homework and Nutrition outside. After morning business, we should have read "Sea Turtles" together. At language arts rotations, students made sea turtle art.  My groups wrote in kindergarten journals about ocean animals. The other groups had secret centers. After recess, we had Star of the Week. Miss Esther had the class estimate items. For math, we had some addition and subtraction practice.

After lunch, we continued our theme of ocean. We read a story about starfish. Then we used oil pastels and watercolors to make a sea horse. For P.E., we played on the kindergarten yard. To end the day, Mr. Rios had the class watch a video. Then we packed up Friday Folders and packed up for home. Have a great three-day weekend!
