Teepees

We had a fun Wednesday in Room 2. We began the day with Nutrition and our morning activities. Then we read "This Is the Turkey" and "M is for Moose." At language arts rotations, students worked on "m" phonics and sentences. My groups wrote about types of transportation and how they move (by land, water, or air). The other groups had secret centers. After recess, we read "Thank You Thanksgiving" and made Native American teepees. We colored, cut, and glued them together. They look cool!

After lunch, we recited "Little Miss Muffet" and had Star of the Week. Daniel shared his favorite book, "Dinosaurs Alive!"  To end the day, we did a turkey dot to dot and celebrated Olive's birthday. Her dad brought some cupcakes for the class to enjoy. Olive also generously gave everyone a toy as we lined up for home. Happy Birthday Olive!
