Parent/Teacher Conference Day

We had a short Thursday in Room 203. It's Parent/Teacher conference day, so we had an 11:00 A.M. dismissal. We started the day with our morning activities, minus the lunch sorting. The we had Star of the Week. Charlotte shared some nice family photographs with the class. Next we had Writer's Workshop. We worked on finishing our exciting stories from Tuesday, and shared with a partner when we finished. After a short snack and recess, we read some of Charlotte's "Ramona" book and had ELA Workshop. My groups wrote a letter to Charlotte, our Star of the Week. Students also got a chance to independently play LexiaCore5 games on our iPads. We also visited a secret center. Then we cleaned up, packed up, reviewed homework, counted super star sticks, and lined up for home.
