Fun and Fast Friday

We had a fun and fast Friday in Room 203. We began the day by collecting homework and taking care of our morning activities. We had less to do since today is an 11:00 dismissal day. Then we had Star of the Week. Charlotte told the class a funny joke before we read the letters we had written to her. We still had some time, so we watched a video from Nurse Shilpa about brushing our teeth and good dental health. After Road to Reading, we had snack. We also reviewed all of our sight words for the year, recited "Jack and Jill," and passed out Lexia certificates and prizes for earning twenty super star sticks. We even had time to read the book "Visit to the Dentist." At Spanish, we learned more about fruit with Sra. Colmenero.  In P.E., we played some fun games with Mr. Simatic, including Can't Wait, Won't Wait and Spy Tag. When we got back to our room it was almost 11:00, so we packed up Friday Folders and got ready for home. We told you it was a fun and fast day!

Remember that we do not have school on Monday in observation of Presidents' Day. Have a great three-day weekend!
