Offline Wednesday

We had an offline Wednesday in Room 203. The internet and phones were down all day, so we worked around it. Actually, other than me not getting emails and students not being able to use Lexia, we really didn't notice. We spent our morning working on "sh" phonics and with Reader's Workshop. After Road to Reading, we had snack and recess. We ended the morning with Spanish.

After lunch, we had Star of the Week. Raf shared a favorite book: "Pete the Cat and the Bedtime Blues." The class like it! We also made a cool insect and plant project using three crayons and finger paint. We will finish it tomorrow. We  ended the day with Second Step. We learned about solving problems using STEPS. Then we packed up, reviewed homework, and headed home.
