Spanish
We had a fine Wednesday in Room 203. We started our morning by celebrating Ben S.'s birthday and having Star of the Week. Ben P. shared "We Are in a Book!," which is his favorite book. The class thought that it was very funny. We also worked on "L" words and phonics skills. We visited the library and listened to a story and checked out new books. When we returned, we had Road to Reading. After snack and recess, we went to Spanish. Sra. Colmenero had the class make dove puppets and sing a song to go with the birds. It looked fun!
After lunch, we reviewed sight words, recited "Mary Had a Little Lamb," and read "Bee-Bim Bop." We also had math. We worked more on identifying and sorting flat and solid shapes. We did pretty well! After some Workshop, we ended the day with Second Step. We talked about caring and helping others. We are going to try and be empathetic and show more compassion this week. Then we packed up, reviewed homework, and lined up for home.
