Super Star Sticks
You may have been hearing about Super Star Sticks the last couple of months. I thought I'd take some time to explain what they were. Super Star Sticks are basically a reward for good behavior. Students may earn them for good listening, following directions, extra effort on classwork, being patient, helping friends, a great answer, and more! At the end of the week, we count how many we have. When you collect twenty Super Star Sticks, you get a certificate and a prize at the end of the day on Friday. Any extra sticks carry over toward next week, so we are always working toward another prize. I think it's a positive way to reward students who are doing a nice job in class and encourage others to try their best. I think the class enjoys the prizes and recognition, too!
