Pigs
We had a good Wednesday in Room 2. We began with morning business and by reading the book "Pigsty." At language arts rotations, students made a pink pig in mud. My groups took the Treasures end of the year assessment. The other groups had their last secret center. After snack and recess, we recited "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and shared some more animal report and diorama projects. John (Bald Eagle), Ava (Giraffe), Basia (Bottlenose Dolphin), and Mia (Brown Bear) read and presented to the class.
After lunch, we practiced our three culmination songs. Then we read "The Tractor on the Farm" and put together a tractor puzzle. Then we made an analog clock with moving hands out on a paper plate. Next, we had P.E. on the big yard. Coach Angel had students play tennis with rackets and plastic balls. When we got back, Mr. A read two "Pete the Cat" books to the class. Then Luke (African Elephant) shared his project before we packed up for home.
