Kindergarten Journals

We had a nice Tuesday in Room 203. We spent our morning working on HWT, with our Reading Buddies, and in Reader's Workshop. We also had Road to Reading before having snack and recess. When we returned, we wrote in our kindergarten journals. We wrote sentences about people and things we love.

After lunch, we visited the library. Mr. Withers read us a neat story about a rabbit who listened and we checked out some new library books. In math, we continued our look at number bonds.  We will continue to work on these to help us make the connection from number pairs into addition and subtraction. Next we had Music and Spanish. We ended the day with Star of the Week. Jamari shared some toys with the class. He brought in a robot, a lion, and a singing reindeer. The class like them all! Then we packed up and lined up for home.
