Getting Ready for 100 Day

We had a fast Thursday in Room 203. We spent the morning with Ms. Makowski as our substitute while Mr. Ricker finished up BAS and Aimsweb assessments. The class added 10 apples to their 100 Day Books, had Reader's Workshop, and worked on "Q" phonics. After snack and recess, the class wrote what they would do with 100 dollars.

After lunch, we reviewed sight words, recited "Jack Be Nimble," read "The Penguin That Wanted to Fly," and had math. We worked on writing all of the number from 1 to 100. This is still a little challenging, so we will keep trying as we finish the year. For Star of the Week, Emma shared some nice family photographs. We ended the day in Art. Ms. Sundquist had the class finish up their collages. Then we packed up and headed home.

Friday is the 100th day of school. We will have activities in the morning from 8:30-10:30 instead of our usual schedule. It should be fun!  Be sure to bring in completed homework packets and wear your 100 Day shirts tomorrow!
