Book Fair

We had a louder Wednesday in Room 203. I had more of a voice, so we were able to get a bit more done. We spent our morning on HWT and Reader's Workshop, where we looked for snap words and snap words with disguises. We also reread Tacky the Penguin and wrote a couple of sentences about Tacky. After Road to Reading, we had indoor snack and recess before ending the morning in Spanish.

After lunch, we reviewed sight words, recited  "Jack and Jill," and had Star of the Week. Evan read his favorite book "Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!" The class really enjoyed it!  Then we visited the Book Fair. We looked around at all the books for sale. Remember the Book Fair will be open Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday before, during, and after school. Be sure to check it out! When we got back, we cut out our Tacky writing and Hawaiian shirt and stapled them to our penguin art from last week. They look awesome!  We ended the day with Second Step. Mrs. Sweeney led a lesson on Managing Anger and Disappointment. Then we packed up for home.

Oh, don't forget that Thursday is a 11:00 dismissal day!
