Friday!

We had a full Friday in Room 203. We spent our morning working on HWT, reading and retelling with a partner in Reader's Workshop, and writing a letter to our Star  of the Week, Henry. After Road to Reading, we had snack and recess. When we came back in, we tried to finish up and share our stories in Writer's Workshop.

After lunch, we reviewed sight words, recited "Simple Simon," and played Simon Says. We also had math. We took the module three end assessment on more and less. Next, we had a short art project. We tried to draw and outline some geometric shapes before using watercolors to fill them in. We went to P.E. to play gymnastics games before singing a very sweet song in Music. Mrs. Karia will send me a link to the video next week.

We don't have school Monday in honor of Presidents' Day, so enjoy your three-day weekend!
