The First Day of Kindergarten!

 

Today was the first day of kindergarten! Parents and students started the morning in the Third Street auditorium to find out who their teacher would be this year. We made our way to room 2 for a quick orientation and then went on with our day. We read stories, toured the class and school,  created a self portrait, and more.  I think it went well!  We hope to use this first week to get comfortable with our room and classmates, as well as get familiar with our daily routines and expectations.
