Fire Safety Trailer
Room 104 experienced the Oak Park Fire Safety Trailer on Wednesday. Oak Park firefighters taught the class how to prevent fires and what to do in case of a fire at home. The trailer included a room to show kitchen safety, a room for bedroom safety, how to exit through a window, a place to practice how to "stop, drop, and roll" in case your clothes catch on fire, and a phone to talk to a person and practice calling 911. It was a fun way to stay safe! Information about the experience went home today. Please go over your own fire safety plan, or make one ASAP if you haven't yet! In addition, make sure that your child knows his/her address and phone number, in case there is an emergency. Let's stay safe and prepared!
