Back to Business!

I made it back to school today. Thank you for all your concern. We started our day with our morning business. Then I read "Bear Feels Sick" to the class. We went back to our regular language arts rotations and wrote a letter to Joanna, our Star of the Week. At my table, I finished up some math testing and did a phonics page with my groups. The two other groups finished their last secret center.  Between rotations, we ended up going to the office to get our hair checked. The note that went home explains. After snack and recess, we recited our poem "Polly Put the Kettle On" and finished our center rotations.

After lunch, we shared a 100 Day projects and then watched the movie "Corduroy." For Star of the Week, Joanna shared two really neat books that were full of photographs of her and her family. Then we went our for P.E. on the kindergarten yard. To end the day, we finished our self-portraits by coloring them in with oil pastels.
