Our class took a field trip to the California Science Center today. After a delayed start (our bus was late), we arrived at the Science Center and went right in. We split into groups and had self guided tours, so each group got a slightly different experience. Most groups checked out the Dive Show, the fish and other animals in Eco-Systems, Tess in BodyWorks, explored the Discovery rooms, and more. It was a busy day with the Endeavour having just opening to the public, and several groups made their way to go see it themselves. There were also several special exhibits with NASA engineers and astronauts. I even got my picture taken with astronaut John D. Olivas! It was a fun trip. After our ride back, each student wrote about their day and got a NASA sticker, wings, and space toy to remember the day.
