We were treated this week with the start of a new block of dance classes. Our new teacher Ms. Melanie Crane, asked our class to join her for 9 weeks on Tuesday afternoons. For our first class, Ms. Melanie introduced herself, dance rules, and some terms she will be using. Some of these we knew because of our time with Ms. Smith earlier in the year. We also read a dance story, moved to the rhythm of a drumbeat (produced by Mr. Ricker), and used self and general and space with our imagination to make a creative dance. It was a fun start to our time together!
