The Last Week of School

Tuesday is the start of our last week of school. We spent our morning in Reader's Workshop and with our Reading Buddies. We also read "The Giving Tree" and began making thank you letters to some of our specials teachers. We even learned a kindergarten medley of songs! After snack and recess, we read "Fidgety Fish" and finished up our HWT workbooks.

After lunch, we read more stories and wrote another thank you card. We also cleaned up some books, blocks, and games. Then we had outdoor recess and sang the kindergarten medley again. We ended the day in Music and in Spanish. Then we packed up for home.  Let's have a great week!

Be sure to look at the important days this week. We need a large bag to go with our backpack to pack up supplies and projects tomorrow. If you haven't sent in money for Thursday's Block Party, please do so ASAP.  Friday will be our last day of the year. It is an 11:00 A.M. dismissal. Report cards will go home Friday, so look for them!
