Field Trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific
Our class took a field trip to the Aquarium of the Pacific today with Mrs. Choi's room 21. The other four first grades went on Wednesday and Thursday and had some difficulties getting in on time, but we were fortunate to have a relatively quick start to the day. Student got to explore for awhile before an early lunch, most literally getting their hands (and clothes) wet touching sharks and rays! After eating, groups got to go even further into the aquarium. We watched ocean movies, walked through the lorikeet forest, saw some marine life shows, and got to see and learn about numerous animals from the Pacific. So many, in fact, that I won't even try to list them all here. It was really nice to be able to walk around and look at such impressive sea life exhibits. What a fun trip! I'll post some pictures from the day so that you can see some of what we got to experience today.
