Field Trip to the Fremont Library

Our class took a very pleasant field trip to the Fremont Library today. We walked the several blocks down June Street, with the help of our wonderful parent chaperones. We got to the library a little early, so we had some juice and crackers as a snack before we went in to the presentation room. We met the head librarian, Lisa, who read us "Bear in Love" by Daniel Pinkwater and told us about our new library cards. She then led us into the main library and showed us where the different book sections are. Students then explored and found some wonderful books to check out. After that, we walked back to school in time for lunch. It was a very nice day! Oh, and don't forget that books are due back by March 5th!
