Curriculum Night
We had a nice Wednesday in Room 203. We spent our morning reading about colors and color words. Then we used markers to decorate our names. We spent a little time talking about our new positive reward system, Super Star Sticks, too. Students can now earn certificates and prizes with positive behavior. Yay! We played "Red Light Green Light" again for PEA. We also introduced science as a subject and tried to solve some riddles together. We ended the morning in Spanish with Sra. Colmenero.
After lunch, we focused on math. We counted together and tried to find objects that were the same. We ended the day with Second Step. Mrs. Sweeney and I led a lesson on learning to listen. We did such a good job, we finished early enough to play "The Freeze" and "Mr. Ricker Says." Then we packed up to go home.
After school, parents visited Room 203 for Curriculum Night. We had a nice turnout! Hopefully everyone feels like they know our class routines and expectations for the year better than before. If you have questions or concerns during the year, please let me know!
