Our Last Week of Kindergarten
We had an easy Monday in Room 203. We began our last week of kindergarten by collecting Friday Folders and taking care of morning activities. We read "When it's the Last Day of School" together and talked about exciting things since today was "X is for eXciting" in our A to Z Countdown. We shared Jaliyah's tiger report and Gabriel's cheetah project before finishing up our Father's Day gifts and cards. They should have made it home today! After snack and recess, we went to Art. Ms. Sundquist had the class make prints with real objects. Cool!
After lunch, we recited "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" and shared Yahkid's animal report on the tiger. In Music, Mrs. Hansen had everyone sing and dance for our last class. When we got back, Mekhi shared his black mamba report with the class. Then we practiced our adding skills in math. We ended the day in the Computer Lab for the last time to play LexiaCore5 games. Don't forget that you can access them all summer long! Then we packed up, reviewed our big events this week, and lined up for home.
Don't forget to send in an extra brown bag or tote (along with your child's backpack) on Tuesday! We will be packing up a lot of things to go home.
