Pumpkin Guy and Pumpkin Girl
We had a nice Friday in Room 203. We spent our morning finishing our pumpkin art from yesterday. After reading some pumpkin books, we used our pumpkin pieces, plus more construction paper to create Pumpkin Guy or Pumpkin Girl. They look fun! We finished up our unit in Reader's Workshop and celebrated our reading. We also had Road to Reading. After snack and recess, we reviewed the alphabet and phonetic alphabet, recited "Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary," read "Feast for 10," and sang "Five Little Pumpkins." We ended the day by cleaning up, packing up Friday Folders, and giving out prizes for twenty super star sticks.
Thank you for all of the positive feedback during Parent/ Teacher Conferences. Have a great weekend!
