The Last Day of Kindergarten
Friday was the last day of kindergarten in Room 2. We began our day with Nutrition, as always, and zoomed through our morning activities. We read "Miss Bindergarten Celebrates the Last Day of Kindergarten" before looking at our end of the year memory book. I hope everyone enjoys them! A digital version is on the inside cover. We spent the rest of the morning reading last day of kindergarten stories and watching a movie. After recess, we passed out awards and prizes for staying green all year, perfect attendance, Science Fair, PTA Reflections, Lexia Learning, and completing our year in kindergarten. Every student got at least one prize. We also said nice things about all our friends!
After lunch, we finished our movie and packed up. We ended kindergarten with a handshake or hug (or both), along with some gifts to go with an envelope that containing your report card. Look for it! It was a wonderful year! We learned and grew so much! I hope that everyone feels the same way. Let's have a fantastic summer vacation!
Be sure to check that envelope. I have included your child's report card, a letter of thanks, some summer tips, a picture, a list of sight words, library happenings, web sites your child might like, and the Lexia codes to use over the summer. If you have any questions or concerns over the summer, feel free to contact me via email. Have a great break!
