Valentine's Day

Today was Valentine' Day.  We've been spending the last few days getting "ready" by making Valentine art.  We made Valentine Guy (and Girl), wrote a Valentine poem, made a Valentine card, made a cool Valentine gift (a candy heart picture frame), and created a Valentine picture in the Tech Lab. It's been a lot of fun!  Even better, today was our Valentine party. Students got to pass out cards and treats during small group work before we ended the day with an ice cream party. Students got to create their own sundae with ice cream, whipped cream, cherries, sprinkles, and more. We had a great time!  Special thanks to Vanessa, our room mom, and the other moms that helped out.  We appreciate it!
