We've had a nice last week before break so far. This afternoon was particularly fun. We reviewed time by testing a partner on the o'clocks (:00) and half past (:30) times. Then we went to a performance in the auditorium by the California Dance Institute (CDI) and the fourth grade classes. It was a very interactive assembly, as students moved and sang with the dances. We saw our reading buddies from Mr. Bassett's room 19 up on stage, too! Then we had a short P.E. time where we played four-square, hopscotch, handball, or hula hooped-the four games we've been learning. And finally, we ended the day listening to stories in the library. Mrs. Sartore read a Hanukkah story and a Christmas story. We had a great afternoon!
