Today we took a field trip to the L.A. Zoo! We left Third Street just after 9:00 A.M. and rode the bus to Griffith Park. We had a quick snack before getting put into groups of about 8 to get a guided tour through the zoo. Unfortunately, the Wild Bird Show is being remodeled, so we had an earlier lunch than expected. Then we got about an hour of free exploration with our parent chaperones. Before we boarded the bus home, we took some pictures of the class near the entrance. It was a hot day, but a lot of fun! Students even got a little animal toy from Mr. Ricker as a way to remember the day. Yay!
